Dog Breeding Establishments Bill 2009
The proposed legislation on dog breeding establishments is presently entering the final stages in the houses of the Oireachtas. There are many vested interests who do not want this legislation to interfere with their income and wish to see it amended.
The animals in these establishments have a right to protection in a civilised society and we need legislation that does just that not a watered dowm version that would allow them to be exploited.
If you feel strongly about puppy farms or dogs being treated like commodities, please contact your local representatives and let them know your views on this issue. The vested interests are already doing this, now is the time to act on behalf of these dogs.
